“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.  I give them eternal life, and they will never perish and no one will snatch them out of my hand.  My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.”  John 10:27-29

     There is good new if you are a true believer in Christ Jesus - you are His and no one can take you away from Him.  Jesus promises a true believer persecution and hard days on this earth, but there is deep freedom from sin and joy within the heart of a true believer no matter what the situation is!  People can beat us and kill us and yet they are powerless to steal us away from the Father.  People will bad talk us and slander our names and yet we are secure in Him.  So, stay focused on Christ Jesus, study His Word with all diligence, pray without ceasing and find joy in His commandments. 

     A few questions must be asked, are you His child?  What biblical support do you have that backs up your claim?  Are you walking in His Truth?  Does your style of life reflect that found in the Scriptures – don’t know where to look – examine yourself in Light of all the Scriptures, 1 John is a great place to start.  If you have time to watch TV, read a book, newspaper or magazine or you just want to sit at the coffee shop, you have time to examine the deeper things of Christ.
