Jaabir Verma knew the residents of the village he regularly visited strictly opposed his faith. He knew the majority of the villagers would cause trouble if he shared about Jesus, but he also knew that they desperately needed to know about God’s love for them.

When some of the anti-Christian radicals saw people giving their lives to Christ, they threatened Jaabir, saying they would burn him alive if he came to the village again.

But Jaabir is standing firm, unafraid of their brutal threats.

“It is very normal that we face opposition from the people,” Jaabir says. “But I will not stop entering the village or sharing the Gospel with them.”

With his life on the line, Jaabir continues to visit the village and minister to the people through whatever means he can.

He asks for prayer that God will shield him and his team of Gospel for Asia-supported missionaries against abuse, and that they would remain steadfast in their courage.

He also requests that the Lord would bless his ministry in that village and that many would come to know Him.

facts on hallo       This book will give a lot of history, guidance and knowledge about the origination of Halloween.  It is always best to go to God Almighty, in the Lord Jesus Christ, on the convictions needed as to how you will celebrate Halloween this year.  The traditions of old and even today are littered with real human sacrifice, praying for the dead, hidding from dead spirits – most of which originated with the Druids and are entwined with satanism, witch-craft and the occult.  The Irish Catholics were amongs the first to celebrate Halloween in America.  Below is a small excerpt from this book.

“We hope Christians will take a closer look at involvement based on the following discussion.

“Not everything in life is clear cut and not everything has easy answers.  All things considered, however, we think the most prudent and wise decision for Halloween is abstinence.  Why?  Based on our discussion to date, we can see that Halloween symbolism and activities today, although technically removed from their ancient practices, nevertheless retain the underlying associations for which they were intended.

“Can we truly align ourselves innocently with something traditionally and currently involved with the occult and be certain we will never be affected in any possible manner?

“But if the purpose of the Christian life is to glorify God, is it really possible to glorify God by imitating, however innocently, what occultists do on their special day?  Should Christians be out on the occultist’s favorite day imitating the things that historically and today are traced to something evil or occult, including even costuming, trick or treating, and setting out displays of fruit?”  Taken from Pages 22-23

This book is a must read for everyone wanting an affordable, short and precise history on Halloween.  It very well may open your eyes, unless of course the killing of humans, spreading of their blood,  and the divination of watching a human body fall convulsing to the ground is what you approve of as a historical basis for your children’s fun day.  Reader, do your homework!

“Beloved, do not imitate evil but imitate good.”

This is a most powerful passage of Scripture and a very dangerous warning to those who says that they are of the Lord, when indeed they really are not.  Oh may we come to understand what is true spiritual worship and that which is of the flesh.  Take heed of God’s Word.

“Behold, all you who kindle a fire,
who equip yourselves with burning torches!
Walk by the light of your fire,
and by the torches that you have kindled!
This you have from my hand:
you shall lie down in torment.”

Isaiah 50:11 ESV

     ~ Forward ~

Front Cover Christian   “I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.”16

We live in a critical point in history. There are many different voices speaking and positioning themselves to grasp our time and attention. Never before have we experienced such an over abundance of competing viewpoints. But, who is right and who is wrong? In whom and/or in what can we place our trust, our faith and our energy? In God alone, and His Word! We should not just rely upon part of God’s Word, but rather all of it.

My friend Jeremy Strang has heard, seen and experienced the traumatic consequences of living ones life with only partial knowledge of and adherence to the truth. It is at best a very unsettling way to live. Throughout the world millions of people are perishing!

Spine

People are experiencing thoughts of emptiness, frustration, hopelessness, and in some cases, false hope because they have affixed their faith to only half of the truth.

Back Cover

Many people have never heard, understood and believed in the whole gospel. We have listened, received and bought into only half of the truth. If this has happened to you, then you understand the harsh reality awaiting those who die in ignorance. In this book, Jeremy has been faithful to present the full truth of the gospel and the Word of God. It is only by hearing and believing in the whole truth that we are saved. Ask yourself, “Have I heard and believed in the whole truth, or just a part of it?” Peace, joy, comfort and hope await those who hear, receive and seek to live out the full truth of the gospel. So read on, and ask the Spirit to speak to your heart!

“We must take care of healing before we see sinners wounded, lest we should say, Peace, peace, where there is no peace. Secure sinners must hear the thunderings of mount Sinai, before we bring them to mount Zion. They who never preach up the law, it is to be feared, are unskilful in delivering the glad tidings of the gospel. Every minister should be a Boanerges, a son of thunder, as well as a Barnabas, a son of consolation. There was an earthquake and a whirlwind , before the small still voice came to Elijah: we must first shew people they are condemned, and then shew them how they must be saved.”

Very good message for us to rest in God.

THE DELIVERER

The Apostle Peter tells us, “If God…spared not the old world, but saved Noah…bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes…making them an example unto those that after should live ungodly; and delivered just Lot…[then] the Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations” (2 Peter 2:4-9).

Despite the severity of these examples, God is sending a clear message of comfort to his people, as if to say: “I have just given you two of the greatest examples of my compassion. If, in the midst of a world-engulfing flood, I can deliver one righteous man and his family out of the havoc…then can I not deliver you also? Can I not provide a miraculous way of escape?

“If I can send down fire-and-brimstone judgment that consumes entire cities at a time, yet I manage to send angels into the chaos to deliver Lot and his daughters…then can I not also manage to send angels to deliver you out of your trials?”

The lesson here for the righteous is this: God will do whatever it takes to deliver his people out of fiery trials and temptations. Think about it: It took the opening of the Red Sea to deliver Israel out of the clutches of its enemy. It took water out of a rock to save those same Israelites from their wilderness trial. It took miracle bread, angels’ food literally sent from heaven, to spare them from hunger. And it took an ark to save Noah from the flood, and “angel escorts” to deliver Lot from fiery destruction. The clear point is that God knows how to deliver his people, and he will go to any extreme to accomplish it, no matter what their circumstance.

Peter’s phrase “God knoweth how to deliver” means simply, “He has already made plans.” The wonderful truth is that God already has plans for our deliverance even before we cry out to him. And he doesn’t sit on those plans; he only awaits our cry for help. We may be entangled in the struggle of a lifetime, wondering how God will deliver us, yet he is ready all at times to put his plan into action.

We see this illustrated in Jeremiah 29, when Israel was in captivity to Babylon. Here was perhaps the greatest trial God’s people had ever experienced, yet the Lord promised them: “After seventy years, I will visit you and perform my Word to you.”

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end” (Jeremiah 29:11). The last phrase literally means “to give you what you long for.” God wants us to keep praying so we’ll be ready for his deliverance.

“1 Corinthians 2.14 speaks of such unregenerated persons in this fashion: ‘The natural (soulish) man does not receive the gifts of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.’  Such men as are under the control of their souls with their spirits suppressed are in direct contrast to spiritual people.  They may be exceedingly intelligent, able to present masterful ideas or theories, yet they do not consent to the things of the Spirit of God.  They are unfit to receive revelation from the Holy Spirit.  Such revelation is vastly different from human ideas.  Man may think human intellect and reasoning are almighty, that the brain is able to comprehend all the truths of the world; but the verdict of God’s Word is, ‘vanity of vanities.’

“While man is in his soulish state he frequently senses the insecurity of this age and so he too seeks the eternal life of the coming age.  But even if he does, he is still powerless to uncover the Word of life by his much thinking and theorizing.  How untrustworthy are human reasonings!  We often observe how very clever persons clash in their different opinions.  Theories easily lead man into error.  They are castles in the air, tumbling him into eternal darkness.

“How true it is that without the guidance of the Holy Spirit intellect not only is undependable but also extremely dangerous, because it often confuses the issue of right and wrong.  A slight carelessness may cause not merely temporary loss but even everlasting harm.  The darkened mind of man frequently leads him to eternal death.  If only unregenerated souls could see this, how good it would be!”

“Is there any place on this earth that belongs to any man so that he can shut out God’s ministers? We once for all put our foot upon any claim so ridiculous.  Wherever there is found a man, there is the minister free to preach. The whole world is our parish, we know of no fetter upon our feet, and no gag upon our lips. Though kings should pass laws, the servants of Christ can bear the penalty, but they cannot disobey their Master, though the Emperor should say the gospel should not be preached by any unauthorized denomination in France, as I have heard he has said of late, we care not for him. What cares the Church for a thousand Emperors? Their resolutions are mockery, their laws waste-paper, the Church never was yet vassal to the state, or servile slave to municipalities and powers, and she neither can nor will be. At all the laws of states, she laughs, and utterly defies them, if they come in the way of the law of Christ which says, “Teach the gospel to every creature.” Brethren, I say, the Church has a right anywhere and everywhere – a right, not because she is tolerated; the word is insult, not because the law permits, the law permitting or not permitting, tolerated or untolerated, everywhere beneath the arch of God’s heaven, God’s servants have a right to preach. Oh that they would claim the right, and in every place teach and preach Jesus Christ continually!”
