Below is a message sent to me by my brother in Christ, Sebastian Ombima, who pastors and trains up pastors from around the northern Africa area.  Please pray for the needs of the people there.

          Praise the Lord! The Kingongo crusade has so far been great. On Thursday we had 52 decisions and Friday 36 decisions. We expect more today and tomorrow. We need Swahili Bibles for new converts. Next week we will be having Pastors and Leaders conference in Kipkenyo village and need Swahili Bibles. You can be an answer to this prayer by supporting. The orphanage also need food and clothings. Pray with us.

Dear Praying partners,

Greetings in the powerful Name of the Lord Jesus Christ! In these last days God has been using WOREM inc to do great works especially in villages and remote parts of Africa. Your prayers and support have made things to work! Thanks for allowing God to use you in that way. After the post-election violence in 2007/8 our main church in Eldoret was destroyed and looted. Many churches and pastors in Africa have looked at this non-denominational church as their Headquarters and me as their overseer.
Many times we have been worshipping in the open air with harsh winds and rains that interupt the service. We then relocated to worship at our orphanage in Eldoret. The Lord has been adding numbers every time. It has been the prayer of the pastors allover Africa and churches affiliated to WOREM inc that we expand the Headquarters. We have began this journey of expansion by faith.
By the grace of God we are building a church with a sitting capacity of 200. We have already set the pillars and started the roof. We have not been able to continue with construction due to lack of funds. Please, pray for us and If the Lord enables you to support this project we will appreciate. I know you would like to support. Below is a message from Sebastian Ombima of Kenya.  He is a good friend and brother in Christ.  Sebastian is currently on a one month mission through the US and Canada.  On May 5th he will be flying back to Kenya.  Please keep him in prayer and please keep his family, ministry and orphanage in prayer.  Pray for God’s provisions and most importantly that His good will be done!  Sebastian also ministers to hundreds of pastors in Northern Africa.

“Dear prayer partners,
I flew into Chicago,IL on Wednesday 21st April from Winnipeg, Canada where I was welcome by Terry Light with his brother Mark. They were so excited to meet me, so was I. We drove direct to a fellowship that evening at around 7pm. Terry did an introduction to brethren present including Samuel, the pastor of the church he attend. The following day I attended a feeding programme and a fellowship whereby i shared about our work in Africa and gave a word of exhotation.
“On Sunday 25th I was ministering at the Presbyterian Church with my new friend Gene after which we hooked up with friends at Rockford community church. Today I spoke to kids and teachers at an elementary school in Rockford who were excited to hear about Africa. This week I will be attending more gatherings and ministering. Please, pray for me. Pray also for my wife who is not feeling well. My son Dan will be 3 this Thursday and I ask for your prayers for him as he grows up to be a God fearing boy.
“Sunday 2nd May I will be preaching in the 5 gates church then possibly Rockford community church and then fly to New Mexico to be with Jeremy Stang and his family. Jeremy has also planned for a meeting for me there. I will be flying back to Kenya on 5th May from Elpaso Texas.  There is need for support of the ministry and orphanage in Kenya. “It continues raining heavily here with the floods killing in some areas and destroying property.  Our orphanage has been affected with 2 buildings destroyed plus food store with floods sweeping away food.  Pray for provision for food, medical supplies and building materials.

      This letter below comes from a good friend and brother in Christ from Eldoret, Kenya, which is in the northeastern part of Africa, within the 10/40 window.  Please read and respond as the Lord shows you how.

        Greetings from Kenya, East Africa in Jesus Name! This year is soon ending and inspite of all the challanges that the enemy brings we praise God for His salvation, grace and mercies. Christmas time is very near. When I visited the US and Canada in June I was so surprised to see food in plenty. Every time I ate I remembered the needy orphans in Africa.

       During Christmas many people spend lots of money on food and other items. Can you imagine there are very needy children here who may not be having anything to eat this Christmas, no good clothes, shoes or something to celebrate? You can make a difference this Christmas.

       On the 25th December we are planning to have a special treat for our children at the orphanage. We need your help. I am writing to you because you are a special friend of mine and this ministry. No gift is small in the eyes of God. Your support will enable us to buy food and gifts for the children this Christmas. On the afternoon of Christmas children from 5 other orphanages will be joining us for celebration whereby poems,songs,drama and testimonies will be shared. Please, do something today! I am counting on you.
